About me
From the IB to the ANU, and back to the subjects I love
I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) Honours at the Australian National University. Before that, I completed the IB Diploma at Mountain Creek State High School, taking High Level Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches) and Physics, and finished with an IB score of 35 (around an ATAR of 93.45).
I've helped a student turn a C− draft into a 19/20 final assignment, and another go from failing a maths topic to scoring an A after just one focused session. The difference usually isn't more effort. It's understanding the concept properly, the first time.
I don't run through textbook methods on autopilot. I find the explanation that makes sense to you specifically, build your understanding from the ground up, and help you walk into your next assessment with confidence.

From a C− draft to 19/20
A student came to me with a draft assignment sitting at a C−. We went through the feedback together, worked out what the marker was actually looking for, and rebuilt the response from there. The resubmission scored 19/20.

Failing maths → an A, in one session
Going into an assessment, this student was failing the topic. One focused session rebuilding the foundations they'd missed was enough, and they walked out of the test with an A.
